Hey! I’m Amber Hage, the founder of Fargo Birth and I am so happy that you have found us!
If you are anything like me, you just found out you’re pregnant and are feeling a whirlwind of emotions. You have seen these emotion packed images on Facebook and Instagram and you are left feeling like birth photography and doula services are something that you CANNOT live without!!
You are so excited and you start your homework: asking for recommendations from your closest friends and stalking photographer and doula Facebook pages to see which style you absolutely LOVE! Your friends list 20 photographers that would enjoy taking your birth photos and you begin looking at each one, one by one. Wait a second….where are all the birth photos? When you go to their website to check out their gallery, you find little mention of BIRTH anywhere!
Well look no further, Fargo Birth is the area’s first birth focused photography company. I am a photographer who would love to help document your birth story as it unfolds.
I am a mom and believe me I have three crazy birth stories under my belt and I understand whole-heartedly what it is like to be in your position! I GET IT!! Being a mom is hard work and most days can end up passing by in the blink of an eye. That is why I photograph with a journalistic approach; to capture the essence of every day life for you to look back at many years from now.
I have undergone several training programs focused on birth, babies, and the family to ensure that I am adequately prepared to capture your special moments. The safety and comfort of your family is my highest priority.
My goal is to finish the session feeling like we are the best of friends! I know what it is like to be just another session under a 15 minute time crunch at the local big box studio (heck, I use to photograph at one). Not only do I take real and raw photographs for you, but I pamper the heck out of you!
Spending time with your family, getting to know you, and capturing genuine moments is what I live for!
